For the first time, network operators will be able to permanently monitor and detect faults in the fiber lines in PON and FTTx networks, by putting up a server in their data center, rather than sending staff to the subscriber's premises.

FiSEC new flag ship product FM PON Server 1000 is based on patented next-generation C-OTDR and T-OTDR technologies.


According to Thomas Hohendanner, CEO of FiSEC, the new server product will be released in early Q3 2010.
